Who Needs a UK Visa from UAE?
UAE nationals can visit the UK visa-free for up to 6 months. All other nationalities residing in the UAE need a UK Standard Visitor Visa. Applications are submitted online through the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) portal, and biometrics are collected at a designated Visa Application Centre (VAC) in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Sharjah.

Standard UK visa processing takes 3 weeks (15 working days) from the date of biometric submission. Priority processing is available for approximately AED 700 extra, delivering a decision in 5 working days. Super Priority (next working day) is available for approximately AED 1,800 extra. The standard visa fee is AED 735 for a 6-month visa.
